My Mustang Farewell Luncheon 2013

Salam and Hi all.

TerbaekWoo versi Eat kali ini nak kongsi betapa sedapnya makanan dari negara Yaman ini. This Yemen restaurant is called Hadramawt. If you Google it, there will be a lot of Hadramawt restaurants in KL. So, this one is located nearby the used car shop (Wang Selamat) at Jalan Ampang. Actually, bukan nak cerita pasal restaurant ni sangat, cuma iklankan je manatahu owner dia kasi makan free ke. So on last &th June 2013, it was my last day with all Process Mustangers and they decided to have it at this restaurant. Can say a last minute plan, which my Head of Department atau Ketua Jabatan still want to organize this farewell for me even it was on Friday. Now I know, betapa sayangnya HOD ni to me. Even selalu kena marah and buli, rupanya dia sedih gak aku nak tinggalkan company ni. So touching :).
So, since I really love to have Yemen punya foods, jadi macam biasa lah mesti pekena Lamb Mandy, Chicken Mandy, Lamb Madghout and so on. Mamat sebelah aku ni pun tak lama lagi angkat kaki la, so kira celebrate untuk dia sekali sebab he might leave us somewhere in fasting month. Punya lah besar roti dia order.
All the girls macam biasalah control-control ayu gitu, tak habis pun aku tengok. Apa pasal la tak offer kat kitaorang. Walau dah telan Lamb Mandy kaw2, but masih lapar lagi tu. For this farewell, my HOD mewakilkan dirinya untuk bayar all the meals, rugi lak tak pow dia kaw2. Tahu order kebab, mix fruits, kambing bakar ke apa. Gaji besar tu, berapa la sangat setakat MYR300 tu bagi dia.
I am not sure when we will meet again. InshaAllah, one day. I have to leave KL as for now and look for better prospect and knowledges out there before come back to KL as Senior Engineer. To Mustangers, keep in touch and InshaAllah to see you all in future. TerbaekWoo @ Hadramawt.

I am Expat now.....in Singapore.

Hi All.

Salam...Today is my second week with my new company in Singapore. Why Singapore? Becoz it is easy for me to return to KL compare to Miri or Brunei. No need flight maa. Just drive for 3 to 4 hours already reached home. Im working with Norweign EPC company based in Singapore for a year contract. Then, we will see if they willing to absorb me then I continue but might request for relocation to Norway. That is my plan as for now then after 2 or 3 years come back to KL. Cukuplah tu duduk oversea lama-lama without Nasi Lemak, mana boleh tahan!!!.  But it is quite sad to leave KL after few years spending my time there. What to do, life must go on and I always persuade my heart to keep calm...after all, it just for temporary. Go out there and get exposure...that will make you more valuable. Selalu cakap gitu, nak pujuk hati.

Now Singapore is really in bad haze, today is 400 API or PSI what they called here. So, cannot spend my time outside after work. Habis kerja, terus balik rumah. But, here in Singapore it is quite hard to look for Halal foods compare to UK when I was there last time. UK even better in looking for Halal foods. So, basically I just go to this one Indonesian restaurant nearby to my office and it is really cheap around SGD2.70. So, kira lebih kurang KL lah after converting. But here I gained in dollars :). That's make me more2 happier. Ok got to go now, will see you later.

Terbaekwoo@Penang : Nasi Kandar & Nasi Beriani Kapitan

Terbaekwoo@ Penang: I was came back from Yan, Kedah attended my best friend's wedding. We flew by Air Asia from LCCT and landed at Penang Airport in the afternoon. This consider a first time for my baby on a flight and you know what, he snoozing all the way to Penang :(. Bangun je, already in Penang. So, tak dapatlah my son want to experience the "take off" and "landing". Anyway, just want to share with you, before we were heading to Kedah, we were having a really good lunch at one Beriani special restaurant. It is situated at Jalan Masjid Kapitan Keling. This restaurant was recommended by Rapid bus driver when I was travelled from airport to Georgetown.
Well, since he is local, so maybe he knows better about foods here. I chosed to have Lamb Beriani Claypot and my wife took Beriani Ayam Claypot for her lunch. WOw, rasa dia quite spicy but I really enjoyed the way they cooked this Beriani. Taste like Lamb Khabsa. Additional to that, I just added "Telur Sotong" to increase my appetite. It only cost me RM30++ for the lunch (2 pax). So, why not you make a visit to this place and try these special Beriani Claypot and they also do have Nasi Kandar for the Nasi Kandar lovers.  Terbaekwoo@ Penang.
